Browser Extension Privacy Policy

The Soundverse browser extension ("the extension") lets Soundverse's AI agent carry out web tasks that you ask for in Soundverse, in a separate window of your own browser. This policy covers the extension. Soundverse's Privacy Policy covers your Soundverse account and everything else.

What the extension can see

• Only the agent's own window. The extension works only in the window it opens for the agent, and in tabs that pages in that window open. It never reads, changes or closes your other tabs and windows.
• While a task runs, it reads the pages in the agent's window (their text, structure and screenshots) and carries out the agent's clicks and typing there.
• It never reads your cookies or saved passwords, and it never clears or changes them.

What it sends to Soundverse

While a task you asked for is running, and only then:

• the content of the pages in the agent's window (text, page structure, screenshots) and their addresses, so the agent can decide its next step;
• what the agent did on them, for the task's record in your chat.

To link and stay linked, it also sends: a device token issued for your account, a name for this browser (for example "Microsoft Edge on Windows") so you can recognise it in your settings, and the extension's version.

If you give the agent a password for a task, it is typed into the page in the agent's window. The extension does not store it.

Soundverse uses AI model providers to decide the agent's steps; they process page content on Soundverse's behalf and under its instructions, as described in Soundverse's Privacy Policy.

What it stores in your browser

• The device token that links this browser to your Soundverse account, until you unlink it.
• For the current browser session only: the state of a task in progress, so a restart of the extension doesn't interrupt it. This is cleared when you close the browser.

What it never does

• It never sells your data, and never uses it for advertising, for creditworthiness or lending decisions, or for anything other than the tasks you ask for.
• It never signs you out of your accounts.
• Before it deletes an account, cancels a subscription, or pays or places an order, it stops and Soundverse asks you. Nothing happens unless you say yes.

Your control

• Stop: the Stop button in the extension's pop-up, or Cancel on the browser's "is debugging this browser" bar, stops the agent at once. Closing the agent's window stops it too.
• Unlink: Soundverse → Settings → Connected Accounts → Your browser → Disconnect. The extension drops its token immediately.
• Uninstall: removing the extension removes everything it stored.
