AI Studio: an AI music studio that runs in your browser

Record vocals, play built-in instruments and generate music, vocals, sound effects and video onto a multitrack timeline. Then mix, master and export, with nothing to install.

AI Studio is Soundverse's AI music studio: a multitrack timeline in your browser for audio, MIDI, video and image tracks, with AI generation right on the timeline. It's built for songwriters, producers, beatmakers and video creators who want to record, arrange, generate and mix in one place, alone or with collaborators. You get eight built-in instruments, 28 effects, Mix One and Mastering One, Agent One in the top bar, and export to audio, stems or video.

See it in action

How it works

  1. Open or start a project

Click Studio in the sidebar. It opens your latest project, or a new one with a Quick start panel for importing, uploading or recording your first file.

  2. Add tracks, sounds and takes

Click Add Track for an audio or MIDI track, use Upload or drag files in, or arm a track and press Record to capture your mic. Open Instruments in the sidebar to load Synth One, Drum Kit One and more.

  3. Generate on the timeline

Right-click an empty part of an audio track for Generate Instrumental, Song, Vocals, SFX or Dialogue, or right-click a clip and open AI Tools to extend, remix or separate stems. Click Generate in Studio and the result lands on the timeline.

  4. Mix, master and export

Add effects from the Effects tab, balance tracks in the Mixer or Mix One from the Studio menu, and master with Mastering One on the master track. Then click Export for audio, stems or video.

Why use AI Studio

Generation where you edit

Instrumentals, songs, vocals, sound effects, dialogue, stems, remixes, extensions, images and video land on the timeline you're working in, as clips you can trim, move and mix.

A real studio around the AI

Record from your mic, play instruments like Synth One and Drum Kit One from a MIDI keyboard, edit notes in the piano roll, and automate volume, pan and effects over time.

Agent One in the top bar

Ask Agent One for a part, a new track or an arrangement change. With its Studio switch on, it edits the project live, adding tracks, notes and clips you can keep editing.

Made for working together

Add Soundverse users by email, or share a link with anyone, to bring them into the same project. Everyone sees live cursors and edits, and can comment on tracks, chat and call from inside the studio.

Great for

  • Build a full song from a single loop
  • Finish and arrange songs from Agent One
  • Record vocals over a generated beat
  • Score a short film or music video
  • Program beats and synth parts in MIDI
  • Co-produce remotely in one shared project

Frequently asked questions

What is AI Studio, Soundverse's AI music studio?

AI Studio is Soundverse's AI music studio: a multitrack DAW that runs in your browser, with audio, MIDI, video and image tracks on one timeline. In Soundverse AI Studio you record, play built-in instruments and generate music, vocals, sound effects and video onto the timeline, then mix, master and export, on your own or with collaborators in real time.

How do I make a song with AI in AI Studio?

Open AI Studio from Studio in the Soundverse sidebar. Right-click an empty part of an audio track, choose Generate Song or Generate Instrumental and click Generate in Studio, or record and upload your own parts. Build around the result with Generate Stem, Extend Music and the built-in instruments, select part of a clip to inpaint it, then mix, master and export.

Is AI Studio free?

Yes, AI Studio is included on every Soundverse plan, including Free. On the Free plan you can keep 3 AI Studio projects with up to 3 tracks each plus one video lane, and export MP3 audio and 720p video. Creator raises the limits to 8 projects and 8 tracks and adds WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, stems and 1080p; Pro raises them to 20 and adds 1440p and 4K. AI tools use tokens, and some need Creator or above.

What files can I import into AI Studio?

AI Studio imports audio such as MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A and AAC, video such as MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and AVI, and images for the image lane. You can also add files from your Soundverse Library or record from your microphone. You need the rights to anything you upload.

How is AI Studio different from Agent One?

Agent One is Soundverse's AI music agent: you describe a goal in chat and it runs the tools for you. AI Studio is where you work hands-on, on a timeline with tracks, instruments, effects and a mixer. The two connect: an Agent One result has an Open in AI Studio button, and inside AI Studio you can open Agent One from the top bar to edit the project live.

Can I export stems or a video from AI Studio?

Yes. Click Export in AI Studio and choose Audio, Stems or Video. Audio exports as WAV, MP3, FLAC, AAC or OGG with an optional loudness target, stems export as one file per track in a ZIP with each track's effects baked in or not, and video exports as MP4, WebM or MOV from 720p up to 4K. Which formats and resolutions you can pick depends on your plan.

What can't AI Studio do?

AI Studio's instruments and effects are built in, so it doesn't load third-party VST or AU plugins. Recording has no count-in or punch-in, and export in the browser is blocked for projects longer than 15 minutes or with more than 24 tracks. Project and track counts follow your plan, so a full project needs an upgrade, or fewer tracks, before you can add more.

Can I use music I make in AI Studio commercially?

It depends on your plan. On the Free plan, what you make in AI Studio is for personal use. Paid plans add a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You need the rights to anything you upload or record into a project, including samples, loops and other people's performances.

Ready to open your studio?

Open AI Studio in your browser, bring in or generate your first tracks, and mix, master and export when it sounds right.
