Songs or instrumentals
Use v9 for a full song with vocals in AI Song Generator, or for an instrumental in AI Music Generator, from the same Model menu.

Depending on the tool, v9 works from your lyrics, a voice clone, a reference song, a hummed melody or a MIDI file.

Frequently asked questions
What is Soundverse v9?
Soundverse v9 is the newest of Soundverse's numbered model versions, and it makes full songs with vocals and instrumentals from your description, lyrics or reference. Soundverse v9 sits at the top of the Model menu, above v8, v7 and v6, and it's available on the Pro plan and above, where it's the version you start on.
Which Soundverse tools can use v9?
Soundverse v9 is offered in AI Song Generator, AI Music Generator, Similar Song Generator, Similar Music Generator, Melody to Song Generator and MIDI to Song Generator, and Agent One uses it for Pro accounts. Extend Music doesn't offer v9, because the v9 model can't extend a song; its Extend Song mode offers v8, v7 and v6 instead.
Is Soundverse v9 free?
No. Soundverse v9 is available on the Pro plan and above, and each song uses tokens from your plan, more per song than v8, v7 or v6. The panel shows the estimated cost before you generate. Signing up for Soundverse is free, and new accounts get free starter tokens to try v6, the version the Free plan includes.
How do I use Soundverse v9 with Agent One?
On the Pro plan and above, just describe what you want. With Agent One selected, the chat has no Model menu, and Agent One uses the newest version your plan includes: Soundverse v9 for songs and instrumentals, and v8 for extensions, since v9 can't extend. To choose a version yourself, pick a tool such as AI Song Generator in the composer's tool picker, and a Model menu appears.
How is Soundverse v9 different from v8?
Soundverse v9 is the newer model and needs the Pro plan, while v8 is available from the Creator plan and is where Creator accounts start. Soundverse v9 uses more tokens per song, and v8 can extend a song in Extend Music, which v9 can't. Both take lyrics, a voice clone or a reference song in AI Song Generator, so you can generate the same idea on each and compare.
What can't Soundverse v9 do?
Soundverse v9 can't extend a song, so Extend Music offers v8, v7 and v6 for that, and you can still continue a v9 song there with one of them. Soundverse v9 has no length setting either: the model decides how long each song or instrumental runs. If you need a set length, ElevenMusic v2.5 in the same Model menu has a Length setting.
Can I use songs made with Soundverse v9 commercially?
Soundverse v9 runs on the Pro plan and above, and paid plans add a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. If you guide Soundverse v9 with a reference song, a melody, a MIDI file or a voice clone, you need the rights to that material, and you should only use a voice that's yours or that you have permission to use.
Where can I hear songs made with Soundverse v9?
Soundverse's blind-test video on YouTube, from October 2026, pairs eight first-take Soundverse v9 songs with songs another AI music model made from the same prompts: pop, hip-hop, rock, R&B, a Hindi duet and three instrumentals. Every clip is loudness-matched and unedited, and the video reveals which track came from which model.
