Security. Privacy. Trust.
How Soundverse AI on Azure answers every enterprise concern your board will raise.
A direct mapping of the five questions enterprise content owners and their legal, security, and procurement teams ask before deploying generative AI — to the specific capabilities Soundverse AI and Microsoft Azure deliver in response. Built for CIO, CISO, General Counsel, and Chief Privacy Officer audiences.
- 100%Core platform workloads on Microsoft Azure today
- ISO 27001 · SOC 2 · GDPR · FedRAMPCompliance coverage inherited via Azure infrastructure
- 0Customer content records used to train foundation models — ever
Enterprise adoption of generative AI in media and creative workflows stalls at one point: the security, privacy, and trust review. Content owners need to know their catalog won't train a competitor's model. Legal teams need contractual commitments they can actually point to. CISOs need a security posture they can measure, not just a vendor promise. Soundverse AI addresses all three — not as assertions, but as auditable, Azure-backed, contractually committed capabilities available today through the Microsoft Marketplace.
Five C-level questions. Direct answers.

Three pillars, one enterprise-ready posture
Framework
Soundverse AI on Azure delivers on Security, Privacy, and Trust as an integrated architecture — not three separate vendor commitments. Each pillar is inherited from Azure's foundational posture and extended with media-specific safeguards.
Pillar 1 · Security
Defense-in-depth, by architecture
- AES-256 at rest + TLS 1.2+ in transit — all workloads, by default
- Microsoft Entra ID + Conditional Access on every request
- RBAC + Just-in-Time access for privileged operations
- Azure Private Endpoints — no public surface for storage or compute
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud continuous posture measurement
- DDoS Protection Standard on all public endpoints
- NIST SP 800-61 incident response plan, GDPR-compliant 72-hr notification
- Annual penetration testing with executive summary available
- MCSB-aligned across all 12 control domains
Pillar 2 · Privacy
Content stays yours. No exceptions.
- Contractual no-train commitment — catalog and recordings never touch model training pipelines
- Logical multi-tenant isolation — your data is never co-mingled with another customer's
- BYOK / Customer-Managed Keys via Azure Key Vault for sensitive catalogs
- Data geography pinning to EU, UK, US, or APAC at onboarding
- Sub-processor list disclosed under NDA with geography for every processor
- GDPR, CCPA, and DSA-aligned data processing terms via Microsoft DPA
- Data Attribution Technology: provenance audit trail for every generated output
- Azure AI Content Safety filters on inputs and outputs — prompt-injection protection
- C2PA-aligned cryptographic provenance metadata on generated audio assets
Pillar 3 · Trust
Evidence customers can verify themselves
- Microsoft Service Trust Portal: SOC 1/2/3, ISO, FedRAMP — downloadable, self-serve
- Defender for Cloud Secure Score: live MCSB posture, not a static attestation
- Microsoft Marketplace publisher validation: Microsoft has vetted the offer terms
- MACC-eligible: purchase draws down against existing Azure commitments
- Microsoft Customer Copyright Commitment model for AI output IP risk allocation
- Microsoft Responsible AI Standard alignment across all six RAI principles
- Azure Well-Architected Review available for enterprise architecture boards
- Cyber liability + technology E&O insurance — certificate on request
- Joint Microsoft + Soundverse readiness session for CISO/GC review
How trust flows through every stage of content processing
Architecture
From the moment customer content enters the platform to the moment a generated asset is delivered — every stage is governed by security, privacy, and integrity controls.
- IngestCustomer ContentCatalog, stems, prompts, and reference audio enter via TLS 1.2+-encrypted channel. Entra ID authenticates every request.
- IsolateTenant IsolationLogical multi-tenant isolation. AES-256 encryption at rest. BYOK available. Training pipelines are structurally separated — no cross-contamination.
- GenerateAzure AI EngineGenerative model serving on Azure. Content Safety filters on inputs and outputs. No customer data feeds back into model training.
- ProtectProvenance LayerData Attribution Technology traces output provenance. C2PA-aligned cryptographic metadata embedded. IP ownership clear in contract.
- DeliverCustomer AssetAsset licensed back to customer per contract. Immutable audit log preserves full chain of custody. Ready for commercial deployment.

Six controls built specifically for media-grade GenAI workloads
Generative AI Trust
Generative AI creates risks that don't exist in traditional SaaS — model training on customer content, copyright exposure on outputs, and provenance gaps that create liability downstream. Soundverse addresses each one directly.
No-Train Commitment
Your catalog never trains our models
Contractually committed and technically enforced: customer-submitted content is never used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any Soundverse foundation or generative model — for your account or any other customer's. This is auditable by independent review.
Azure AI Content Safety
Automated guardrails on every prompt and output
Inputs and generated audio pass through Azure AI Content Safety — filtering harmful content, detecting prompt-injection patterns, and enforcing policy controls consistent with Microsoft's published Responsible AI standard.
Data Attribution Technology
Soundverse provenance tracking
Soundverse's Data Attribution Technology traces influence and provenance across generated outputs — giving content owners audit-grade evidence of what data shaped what output, without exposing model internals.
Copyright & IP
Generated outputs are licensed to you
Outputs generated from your inputs are licensed back to you for the use cases defined in your contract. Terms align to the Microsoft Customer Copyright Commitment model for foundation-model risk allocation — the framework your legal team already knows.
Responsible AI
Aligned to Microsoft's six RAI principles
Soundverse adopts Microsoft's Responsible AI Standard — fairness, reliability & safety, privacy & security, inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability — applied across model training, evaluation, and deployment lifecycles.
C2PA Provenance
Cryptographic content credentials on output
Generated audio assets carry cryptographic provenance metadata aligned to the C2PA standard — enabling downstream users to verify origin, generation parameters, and modification history. Closes the trust gap that creates liability for AI-generated content in commercial use.
Where your data lives — full disclosure
Hosting Transparency
Compliance teams need to know not just that a vendor uses Azure, but where each workload runs. Soundverse publishes its hosting posture per product line.
Region Control
Data residency pinning
Customer data location pinnable to EU, UK, US, APAC geographies at onboarding — no custom engineering required.
Key Control
Customer-Managed Keys (BYOK)
For sensitive catalog workloads, BYOK via Azure Key Vault means Soundverse cannot read your data — cryptographic control is yours.
Vendor Control
Sub-processor disclosure
Full sub-processor list (names, roles, geographies) available under NDA, with change-notification commitments in the DPA.
The questions enterprise leaders ask before signing
Concerns Answered
Direct answers to the security, privacy, and content-protection questions consistently raised by media and entertainment buyers. Each answer is mapped to evidence your teams can independently verify.
We have decades of unreleased recordings in our catalog. How do we know Soundverse won't use them to train a model that competes with us?
Our Answer
This is addressed by contract, by architecture, and by audit. Contractually: The no-train commitment is a written obligation in the master services agreement — your recordings are not used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any Soundverse model. Architecturally: Customer content storage is structurally separated from model training pipelines on Azure — technical segregation that can be reviewed in the architecture diagram. By audit: The commitment is auditable as part of vendor due diligence.

Our CISO needs a security posture document, not a marketing deck. What do you have?
Our Answer
Defender for Cloud Secure Score — a live, quantitative MCSB posture measurement of the Soundverse production environment, available as a dashboard screenshot or export. Penetration test executive summary — annual third-party pen test results available as part of vendor onboarding. Architecture diagram — annotated with Azure services, IP boundaries, encryption layers, and network topology. Service Trust Portal — Azure's independent SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP reports downloadable by your CISO team today, no vendor interaction required.

If we generate a track and it turns out a third party claims copyright on something similar — what's our liability?
Our Answer
This is addressed at two levels. Soundverse contract: Outputs generated from your inputs are licensed back to you for the contracted use cases. The agreement aligns to Microsoft's Customer Copyright Commitment model — the same risk-allocation framework Microsoft uses for Azure OpenAI outputs. Provenance evidence: Soundverse's Data Attribution Technology generates an audit trail of what data influenced what output — providing defensible evidence of provenance that strengthens any IP defense. In the event of a claim, you have both a contractual indemnification path and documented evidence of generation parameters.

We operate across the EU and US. We can't have customer data moving across borders without explicit consent. How do you handle this?
Our Answer
Geography pinning is available at onboarding — your data is assigned to a specific Azure geography (e.g., West Europe, UK South, East US) and stays there. Microsoft contractually commits in the Data Protection Addendum not to move customer data outside the chosen geography except for limited, published exceptions. For EU customers, the Microsoft EU Data Boundary provides additional sovereignty commitments. The sub-processor list — with geographies for each processor — is available under NDA. GDPR Article 28 processor obligations are covered by the Microsoft DPA, which is publicly available and pre-negotiated.
Evidence available: Azure region confirmation · Microsoft DPA (public) · EU Data Boundary documentation · Sub-processor geography list (under NDA)
We've been through vendor security reviews before. What makes buying through the Microsoft Marketplace different from a direct contract?
Our Answer
The Marketplace changes the procurement dynamic in three ways. Pre-validated publisher: Microsoft has vetted Soundverse AI's publisher status, offer terms are standardized, and legal review cycles are shorter because the foundational terms are pre-negotiated. MACC drawdown: The purchase can apply against your existing Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment — no new budget line required if you have unused Azure commitment. Consolidated billing: One invoice through Microsoft, not a new vendor relationship. Additionally, because Soundverse is built on Azure, the underlying infrastructure compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) is already covered by your existing Azure relationship — you're not adding a new compliance scope, you're extending one you already manage.
