What you get
Guitar in your demos
Add rhythm, lead or ambient guitar to a sketch without a guitar, an amp or a microphone.
Heavy and open tunings
Drop, open and extended-range tunings on 6, 7 or 8 strings, with your scale highlighted on the neck.
Guitar-style phrasing
Palm mute for chugs and drag-to-bend up to a whole step give your parts the feel of a played guitar.
Who it's for
Songwriters who don't play guitar
Puts a guitar part in a song sketch by clicking frets on screen or typing notes on your computer keyboard.
Rock and metal producers
Seven- and eight-string guitars in drop tunings, with palm mute, cover heavy riffs without a guitar rig.
Guitar students and teachers
Highlights any of 12 scales from any root across 24 frets, so learners see where each scale's notes sit on the neck.
Beatmakers
Clean, ambient and electronic guitar presets add melodic guitar lines to trap, lo-fi and future-bass beats.
When to use it
- Your song needs a guitar part and you don't play guitar
- You want to try a riff in Drop D, DADGAD or an open tuning before you retune a real guitar
- You're learning a scale and want to see its positions across the neck
- You have a recorded guitar line and want it as editable notes
- A MIDI guitar part needs amp tone
What you can make with it
Palm-muted chugs
Pick a Heavy preset, switch to 7 strings in a drop tuning, turn on Palm Mute and play tight low-string riffs. Palm Mute covers the whole track, so put open-ringing parts on a second track.
Ambient swells
Play long notes on an Ambient preset, then add Reverb One and Delay One to the track for a wide, washed-out guitar.
A riff in a new tuning
Switch the tuning to Drop D or Open G and pick out a riff fret by fret to hear how it lies before you retune your own guitar.
Scale practice on the neck
Highlight A minor pentatonic, or any of 12 scales from any root, and see every position across the 24 frets while you play.
Amp tone on a MIDI guitar
Add the Guitar One amp from the Effects tab to the track to run the part through crunch, lead or metal models.
A recorded line, re-voiced
Convert a recorded guitar part with Audio to MIDI; it lands on Guitar One with a preset, so you can change the tone or fix notes. Audio to MIDI uses tokens.
Guitar melodies for beats
Write a clean or electronic guitar melody in the piano roll and loop it under a trap or lo-fi beat.
Guitar One is Soundverse's virtual guitar: a MIDI guitar built on Synth One's engine that you play in your browser inside AI Studio. It's for songwriters and producers who want guitar parts in a sketch or a beat without picking up a guitar or loading samples. You get a 24-fret fretboard with 6, 7 or 8 strings, 15 tunings for each, scale highlighting, palm mute, bends of up to a whole step and 52 presets in 10 styles.

Where the AI comes in
Guitar One is a synthesized instrument, not an AI model. Audio to MIDI is the AI tool that feeds it, and it uses tokens.
Audio to MIDI
Turn a recorded guitar line into notes on a Guitar One track, with a preset chosen for it.
Agent One
When Agent One writes a new part, it uses Synth One, Bass One or Drum Kit One, not Guitar One, so play or draw guitar parts yourself.
How it works
Load Guitar One
In AI Studio, choose Instruments under Studio in the sidebar and click Guitar One. It loads onto your MIDI track, or a new one, and its window opens.
Choose a tone and tuning
Pick a preset with the arrows or the preset menu, choose 6, 7 or 8 strings, and open Tuning for options such as Drop D, DADGAD or Open G.
Play the neck
Pluck a fret to play and drag up to bend, or play from your computer keyboard. Pick a Scale to highlight the notes in your key, and switch on Palm Mute for chugs.
Record and export
Arm the track and press Record to capture a take, or draw notes in the piano roll. Then mix and click Export to render Guitar One into your song.

Good to know
No MIDI keyboard input
Play Guitar One on the fretboard or your computer keyboard, or write notes in the piano roll; it doesn't read a MIDI controller directly.
Synthesized tones
Guitar One's presets are synthesized, not recorded guitars, so they won't match a miked acoustic or a recorded amp.
No saved presets
You can't save your own Guitar One presets; the sound you set stays with its track in the project.
Same name as an amp effect
The Guitar One card in the Effects tab is a different tool: an amp effect for audio.
Frequently asked questions
Is Guitar One a free virtual guitar?
Yes. You can play Guitar One on every Soundverse plan, including Free, and it uses no tokens. Guitar One sits in AI Studio, where the Free plan includes 3 projects with up to 3 tracks each and MP3 export, and Guitar One needs one track. Creator raises those limits to 8 projects and 8 tracks and adds WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG and stems.
Does Guitar One sound like a real guitar?
Guitar One synthesizes its tones on the same engine as Synth One rather than playing recordings of real guitars. Its 52 presets aim for acoustic, nylon, clean, crunch, lead, heavy and ambient sounds, and palm mute and bends add guitar-style phrasing, but a synthesized tone won't match a miked acoustic or a recorded amp. Soundverse renders your export through the same Guitar One engine you hear.
Can I use guitar parts from Guitar One commercially?
That comes down to your Soundverse plan. On the Free plan, parts you make with Guitar One are for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You need the rights to anything you upload or record into the same project, such as a sample or a vocal take.
What can't Guitar One do?
Guitar One doesn't read a MIDI keyboard or guitar controller directly, so play it on the fretboard or your computer keyboard, or write notes in the piano roll. It can't save your own presets, and it doesn't play recorded guitar samples. It runs only inside Soundverse AI Studio, not as a VST or AU plugin in another DAW.
What is Guitar One?
Guitar One is Soundverse's virtual guitar, built into AI Studio and played in your browser. It shows a 24-fret neck with 6, 7 or 8 strings and 15 tunings for each, highlights the notes of a chosen scale, and plays 52 synthesized guitar presets with palm mute and bends of up to a whole step, from the fretboard, your computer keyboard or the piano roll.
What tunings does Guitar One have?
Guitar One has 15 tunings for each string count. On 6 strings they include Standard, Drop D, Half Step Down, Whole Step Down, Drop C, Drop C#, Drop B, DADGAD, Open D, Open G, Open E, Open C, Open A, Nashville and C Standard, and 7- and 8-string guitars get their own standard, drop and open tunings. Change tuning anytime from the Tuning menu in Soundverse AI Studio.
Where does the AI come in with Guitar One?
Guitar One itself is a synthesized instrument, not an AI model. In Soundverse AI Studio, the AI tool that feeds it is Audio to MIDI, which turns a recorded guitar part into notes on a Guitar One track with a preset chosen for it and uses tokens based on the length of the audio. When Agent One writes a new part, it uses Synth One, Bass One or Drum Kit One rather than Guitar One. Playing Guitar One is free.
Is Guitar One an instrument or an amp effect?
Both names appear in Soundverse AI Studio. Guitar One in the Instruments tab is the virtual guitar on this page: it turns MIDI notes into guitar sounds. The Guitar One card in the Effects tab is an amp effect that runs audio, such as a recorded guitar, through amp models with delay and reverb pedals. You can add that amp effect to a Guitar One track, too.
Add guitar to your track
Open AI Studio, load Guitar One onto a track, choose a tone and tuning, and play the neck or write the part in the piano roll.
