Is Bass One a free online bass synth?

Yes. Bass One costs nothing on any Soundverse plan, including Free, and playing it uses no tokens. It lives in AI Studio, where a Free account can keep 3 projects of up to 3 tracks each and export MP3, and Bass One uses one of those tracks. On Creator you get 8 projects of 8 tracks plus WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG and stems. Asking Agent One to write a bassline uses tokens.

How good does Bass One sound?

Bass One is a dedicated subtractive bass synth: two oscillators with sine, triangle, saw and pulse waves, a sub, noise, a 12 or 24 dB resonant low-pass filter with drive, and separate filter and amp envelopes. Accent, drive and tone shape the attack and grit. Soundverse renders your export through the same Bass One engine you hear while playing, so the exported bass matches what you dialed in.

Can I use basslines from Bass One commercially?

That depends on your Soundverse plan. On the Free plan, basslines you make with Bass One are for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. If your project also holds uploads or recordings, such as a sampled loop or a guest vocal, you need the rights to those too.

What can't Bass One do?

Bass One makes bass from synthesis only, so it doesn't play recorded bass guitar; for a sampled bass, load audio into Sampler One. It runs only inside Soundverse AI Studio, not as a VST or AU plugin in another DAW. Its knobs can't be automated on the timeline, and a MIDI keyboard works only in browsers that support Web MIDI.

What is Bass One?

Bass One is Soundverse's bass synthesizer, built into AI Studio and played in your browser. It loads onto a MIDI track and opens with oscillator, sub and noise, filter, envelope, voice and drive sections, plus 40 factory presets and your own saved sounds under MY PRESETS. You play it from your computer keyboard, its on-screen keys, the piano roll or, in browsers that support Web MIDI, a MIDI keyboard.

How do I make an 808 bass online?

Open Bass One in Soundverse AI Studio and load a preset from the 808 category, such as 808 Boom or Trap Glide 808. Set the voice mode to MONO or LEG and raise GLIDE so notes slide into each other, then add DRIVE for grit. Draw the notes in the piano roll or play them from your keyboard, and Bass One renders the 808 into your export.

Can Agent One write a bassline on Bass One?

Yes. Open Agent One from the top bar in Soundverse AI Studio with its Studio switch on and ask for a bassline. Agent One writes the notes onto a Bass One track, can load a preset by name or adjust the sound, and can save a sound to your MY PRESETS list. Each Agent One request uses tokens; Bass One itself is free.

Can I turn a recorded bass line into a Bass One part?

Yes. In Soundverse AI Studio, right-click the audio clip with the bass, open AI Tools and choose Convert to MIDI. Audio to MIDI writes the notes it detects onto MIDI tracks, and a bass part loads on Bass One with a preset chosen for it. Audio to MIDI is an AI tool that uses tokens based on the length of the audio; playing Bass One is free.

How is Bass One different from Synth One?

Bass One is Soundverse's dedicated bass synth, with two oscillators plus a sub, one resonant low-pass filter, glide, accent and 40 bass presets. Synth One is the all-round wavetable synth for pads, leads and keys, with three wavetable oscillators, two filters and a modulation matrix. Use Bass One for the low end and Synth One for the parts above it.
