Do more with Visual One on Creator — from $9.99/mo, or ₹399/mo in India. 8 AI Studio projects with 8 tracks each; WAV, stems and 1080p export. Billed $119.88 a year, or $12.49 month to month.
What you get
Chords built on your scale
Pick a scale and the right wheel offers only its notes, so every chord you pinch starts on a note of your key.
A performance you can edit
Your gestures record as MIDI notes, so you can fix, move or replay them in the piano roll.
No camera, no problem
Play the same wheels with your mouse, and route the chords to Synth One or Bass One for a bigger sound.
Who it's for
Content creators and live streamers
Turns pinch gestures in front of a webcam into chords, so the act of playing is something viewers can watch.
Music teachers
Lays chord types and scale degrees out as two wheels that students can play with their hands or a mouse.
Beginners and students
Lets someone with no keyboard skills play chords built on a chosen scale and hear how maj7, sus4 or a 9th changes the sound.
Producers looking for new ideas
Offers a physical, playful way to find chord progressions, recorded as MIDI you can route to Synth One or edit later.
When to use it
- You want to play chords but have no keyboard or MIDI controller nearby
- You're filming or streaming and want the music-making to be visible
- You're teaching how each chord type sounds on the degrees of a scale
- You keep falling back on the same chord shapes and want a different way in
- You're running a workshop and want an instrument people play with their hands
What you can make with it
A progression for a video
Screen-record Visual One while you play, so the video shows your hands on the wheels, then clean up stray chords in the piano roll before you export.
Chord-type ear training
Hold one scale degree on the right wheel and move across maj, min, maj7, m7, 9 and sus4 on the left so students hear each type on the same root.
Gestures through Synth One
Set OUTPUT to + New Synth One to hear your gestures on a full synth patch, and keep that sound when you export.
A sound that fits the song
Switch SOUND between synth, piano and organ and set OCTAVE from 2 to 5 so the chords sit where the song needs them.
Mode comparisons
Switch SCALE between Major, Dorian and Harmonic Minor and pinch the same degrees to hear how each mode changes the progression.
A workshop demo
Set up one laptop with a webcam and let participants take turns playing chords with their hands, with the mouse as a backup.
Chord ideas for a song
Improvise with gestures until a progression sticks, then keep the MIDI and rework it in the piano roll or on another instrument.
Visual One is Soundverse's instrument for people who want to play music with hand gestures: hand and face tracking models run in your browser and turn what your webcam sees into chords inside AI Studio. It's for performers, teachers and curious producers who want a camera-controlled way to play chords and record them as MIDI. You get two chord wheels, seven scales, a synth, piano or organ sound, and routing to Synth One or Bass One.
What you can do
How you play
Two wheels over your webcam image.
Chord wheel
The left wheel picks the chord type: maj, min, maj7, m7, 9 or sus4.
Degree wheel
The right wheel offers only the notes of your scale, so each chord's root is a note of your key.
Pinch and mouth
Pinch your thumb and index finger over a wheel to play; open your mouth to sweep a high-pass filter over Visual One's own sound, live.
Mouse and Strum
Click the wheels with your mouse instead, and press Strum to replay the current chord.
Sound and output
What you hear and where it goes.
Scale
Any of 12 root notes with Major, Minor, Dorian, Mixolydian, Harmonic Minor, Pentatonic Major or Pentatonic Minor.
Sound and octave
A synth, piano or organ sound in octaves 2 to 5, and a Monitor switch to hear what you play.
Output
Visual One's own sound, an existing MIDI track, or a new Synth One or Bass One track.
Smoothing
A SMOOTHING slider steadies the tracked cursor.
Where the AI comes in
Visual One is the one instrument that uses tracking models directly.
Hand and face tracking
Tracking models run in your browser to find your fingertips and how open your mouth is. If they can't load, a simpler motion tracker takes over.
How it works
Load Visual One
In AI Studio, choose Instruments under Studio in the sidebar and click Visual One. It loads onto your MIDI track, or a new one, and its window opens.
Connect your camera
Click Connect camera and allow camera access in your browser. With no camera, or with access blocked, play the wheels with your mouse.
Pinch to play chords
Set the SCALE, then pinch your thumb and index finger over the left wheel for the chord type and the right wheel for the scale degree. Open your mouth to sweep a high-pass filter.
Record and export
Arm the track and press Record to capture your chords as MIDI notes, then edit them in the piano roll and click Export.

Why use Visual One
Chords from a gesture
Each pinch picks a chord type (major, minor, maj7, m7, 9 or sus4) and a degree of your scale, so every chord is built on a note of your key.
Your face as a filter knob
Opening your mouth sweeps a high-pass filter over Visual One's own sound while your hands play. The sweep is live and isn't recorded.
Tracking in your browser
Hand and face tracking run in your browser on your own device. Visual One records the chords you play, not your camera image.
Free on every plan
Visual One uses no tokens on any plan, including Free, and records into AI Studio like any other instrument.

Good to know
Chords only
Visual One plays chords from six types and your scale's degrees; use another instrument for single-note lines or drums.
Camera permission
Gestures need a webcam and camera permission. Without them, play the wheels with your mouse.
No MIDI keyboard
Visual One doesn't read a MIDI controller.
Routing in exports
Chords routed to Synth One, Bass One or Chord One export with that sound; other routes export with Visual One's own sound. The mouth filter isn't recorded.
Your camera and Visual One
- Hand and face tracking run in your browser, on your device.
- Visual One records the chords you play as MIDI notes, not your camera image.
- The camera starts only when you click Connect camera and your browser allows it, and closing the Visual One window turns it off.
Frequently asked questions
Is Visual One a free way to play music with hand gestures?
Yes. Visual One comes free with every Soundverse plan, including Free, and playing it uses no tokens. It runs inside AI Studio, where the Free plan gives you 3 projects with up to 3 tracks each and MP3 export, and Visual One takes one track. Creator raises the limits to 8 projects and 8 tracks and adds WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG and stems. You need a webcam for gestures, or a mouse.
How well does Visual One track my hands?
Visual One uses hand and face tracking models that run in your browser, with smoothing so the on-screen cursor stays steady, and its SMOOTHING slider sets how much. It tracks up to two hands, so keep the hand you play with in view of the camera. If the tracking models can't load, Visual One falls back to a simpler motion-based tracker, and the mouse always works in Soundverse AI Studio.
Can I use music I make with Visual One commercially?
Your Soundverse plan sets that. On the Free plan, music you make with Visual One is for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You need the rights to anything else you upload or record into the project, such as samples or vocals.
What can't Visual One do?
Visual One plays chords, one at a time, from six chord types and the degrees of your scale, so it isn't built for single-note melodies or drums. It needs camera permission for gestures, has no MIDI keyboard input, and runs only inside Soundverse AI Studio. Routed to Synth One, Bass One or Chord One, it exports with that sound; other routes export with its built-in sound, and the mouth filter isn't recorded.
What is Visual One?
Visual One is Soundverse's camera-controlled chord instrument, built into AI Studio. Two wheels sit over your webcam image: the left one picks the chord type and the right one picks a degree of your chosen scale. Pinch your thumb and index finger over a wheel to play, or click it with the mouse, and Visual One records the chords to your track as MIDI notes.
Is Visual One an AI instrument?
Yes, in one specific way. Visual One uses hand and face tracking models, which run in your browser, to find your fingertips and how open your mouth is in the webcam image. Everything after that is music logic: the wheels you pinch pick a chord type and a root note from your scale, and Soundverse plays the chord on Visual One's synth, piano or organ sound, or on a Synth One or Bass One track.
Does Visual One record my camera video?
No. Visual One records only the chords you play, as MIDI notes on your track in Soundverse AI Studio. Its hand and face tracking run in your browser on your own device, and the camera starts only when you click Connect camera and your browser allows it. Closing the Visual One window turns the camera off.
Can I play other instruments with Visual One?
Yes. Set OUTPUT in Visual One to another MIDI track, or choose + New Synth One or + New Bass One, and your chords play through that instrument instead of Visual One's own sound. In exports, chords routed to Synth One or Bass One keep that sound. You can also edit the recorded chords in Soundverse's piano roll like any other MIDI part.
What if I'd rather play by singing?
Use VocalMIDI One, Soundverse's voice-to-MIDI instrument in AI Studio: it turns singing, humming or beatboxing into MIDI notes as you perform. Visual One suits chords played with gestures, and VocalMIDI One suits melodies and beats you can sing. Both are free on every plan and record onto the same timeline.
Play your first chord with a pinch
Open AI Studio, load Visual One onto a track, connect your camera or use your mouse, and record chords as MIDI.
