What you can make with it
A pad bed for a verse
Pick a pad preset, lengthen its release so the chords blend into each other, and draw long chords in the piano roll under the vocal.
A wide lead for a drop
Load a supersaw preset, raise the unison voices for width, and play the hook from your keyboard.
An arpeggio that exports
Draw the arpeggio as notes in the piano roll, or ask Agent One to write it, because the built-in arpeggiator exports as plain chords. Agent One requests use tokens.
A filter build into the drop
On a 16th-note pattern, switch on AUTO · CUTOFF in the piano roll and draw a rising curve so each note opens a little brighter.
A pad that breathes
In the MATRIX page, route an LFO to filter cutoff so a held chord keeps moving on its own.

Where the AI comes in
Synth One is a synthesizer, not an AI model. Agent One and Audio to MIDI are the AI around it, and they use tokens.
Agent One writes parts
Describe the part and Agent One writes chords, keys, a pad, a melody, a lead or an arp onto a Synth One track.

Right-click an audio clip, open AI Tools and choose Convert to MIDI to turn a recorded part into notes on a MIDI track.
How it works
Load Synth One
In AI Studio, choose Instruments under Studio in the sidebar and click Synth One. It loads onto your MIDI track, or a new one, and its window opens.
Pick or shape a sound
Click the preset name to browse or search 100 factory presets, or step through them with the arrows. Shape the sound on the OSC, MIX, FX, MATRIX and GLOBAL pages.
Play and record
Play from your computer keyboard, or a MIDI keyboard in browsers that support Web MIDI. Arm the track and press Record to capture a take, or draw notes in the piano roll.
Mix and export
Add effects and balance the track in the Mixer, then click Export. Synth One renders into your song through the same engine you play.

Good to know
The arpeggiator is live only
The arpeggiator plays while you perform, but exports render those notes as plain chords. Write arpeggios as notes to hear them in the export.
Knob automation
Synth One's knobs can't be automated on the timeline. The piano roll's AUTO · CUTOFF lane draws a filter-cutoff curve for each clip.
Synthesized, not sampled
Piano, string and orchestral presets are synthesized versions of those sounds, not recordings of the instruments.
Reusing a sound
A sound stays with its track. To reuse it in another project, use Save Patch and Load Patch.

How good does Synth One sound?
Synth One is a full wavetable synthesizer: three oscillators with up to 8 unison voices each, 10 wavetables, 7 warp modes, a sub, noise, two filters, four envelopes, four LFOs and eight effects. Soundverse renders your export through the same Synth One engine you hear live, with one exception: the arpeggiator exports as plain chords. Its piano, string and orchestral presets are synthesized, not recorded samples.
Can I use music I make with Synth One commercially?
It depends on your Soundverse plan. On the Free plan, what you make with Synth One is for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You also need the rights to anything you upload or record into the same project, such as samples or another person's performance.

Yes, in browsers that support Web MIDI. Connect your keyboard or controller and open Synth One in Soundverse AI Studio; it listens for MIDI when its window loads, and Connect MIDI in its menu tries again. Notes, velocity, pitch bend and the mod wheel come through, and controller profiles map eight knobs to cutoff, resonance, attack, release, delay, reverb, sub and volume.
Is Synth One an AI synth?
Synth One itself is a classic wavetable synthesizer: its sound is computed in your browser, not generated by an AI model. The AI comes from Agent One in Soundverse AI Studio, which can put Synth One on a track, load a preset by name, adjust the sound and write chord, pad, melody, lead and arp parts for it. Audio to MIDI can also turn a recorded part into notes on a Synth One track.
How do I keep a sound I made in Synth One?
A Synth One sound stays with its track, so it's there when you reopen the Soundverse AI Studio project. To reuse it somewhere else, open MENU in Synth One and choose Save Patch, which downloads the sound as a file. Load Patch brings that file back onto any Synth One track, in any project.
How is Synth One different from Bass One?
Synth One is Soundverse's all-round wavetable synth for pads, leads, keys and more, with three oscillators, two filters and a modulation matrix. Bass One is built only for bass: two oscillators plus a sub, a resonant low-pass filter with its own envelope, glide, accent and drive, and 40 bass presets. Use Bass One for the low end and Synth One for the parts above it.
