Soundverse on Shark Tank India: the pitch, the live song and what came after
How Soundverse got onto Shark Tank India S5 E25, the song made live from the Sharks' words (Hans Ki Dhun), Let's Dance, and what came after the episode.
Quick answer: Soundverse pitched on Shark Tank India, Season 5, Episode 25, which aired in February 2026. Founders Sourabh Pateriya and Ash Pournouri walked in with a version of the platform that was three days old, and Sourabh made a song live on stage from one word given by each Shark: Hans (Zimmer) Ki Dhun. A second track, Let's Dance, was made for the episode. This page collects the full story video and both songs.

How you get onto Shark Tank India
The story video starts before the Tank. Per Sony LIV's own FAQ, getting onto Shark Tank India takes four rounds of selection before you ever face the Sharks. Soundverse went through all four, and arrived on set with a brand-new version of the product, three days old.
The two founders
Sourabh Pateriya is from Jabalpur. He played in a metal band, releases music as Blue Nucleus, studied at IIT Bombay and worked at Spotify in Stockholm before building Soundverse.
Ash Pournouri, the co-founder, built the Avicii brand, was involved with Swedish Idol, sat on the panel of Dragons' Den Sweden, and has a Grammy nomination for "Levels" (2013).
The pitch: a song from the Sharks' words
The centrepiece of the pitch was a live test. Sourabh took one word from each Shark and turned them into a full song, on stage, with Soundverse. The result was Hans (Zimmer) Ki Dhun, made live with the Soundverse v5 model and released by Soundverse and Blue Nucleus. It's on Spotify and Apple Music.

You can do the same exercise yourself: give Agent One a handful of words and a genre and ask for a full song with vocals, or start from the AI song generator.
Let's Dance
Let's Dance was made for the same episode, also with the Soundverse v5 model and Blue Nucleus. It's available on Spotify and Apple Music as well.

The hard questions
The Sharks didn't go easy. The story video covers the hard questions in the Tank: what AI means for music directors, how Soundverse compares with Suno, and working with artists the hard way. It also covers the numbers discussed on stage, which Sharks went out, and the offer from Namita Thapar.
If the Suno question is the one on your mind too, the Soundverse vs Suno comparison and the guide to moving from Suno go into detail.
After the Tank
The second half of the video runs through what came after the episode:
- Chai Ki Tapri, the song made on Soundverse by Young AJ and UG Beats that went viral on India's Got Latent.
- Rakhi Bani Rockstar, a music video with Rakhi Sawant (below).
- Google for Startups Accelerator India 2026, coverage in Forbes and Billboard India, and Soundverse on Microsoft Marketplace.
Rakhi Bani Rockstar
Rakhi Bani Rockstar is a high-energy track and music video starring Rakhi Sawant, made with Soundverse AI. The lyrics tell the story of the song being made: Rakhi asks Soundverse what it can make, and it answers, "tell me, madam, and I'll make it."

What the episode shows about AI music
The live test is the point of the whole pitch. A song from a handful of words, made in front of an audience, shows the two things that matter when you make music with AI: speed, and the person steering it. The Sharks gave the words, and Soundverse turned them into a song.
If you want to try that flow:
- Collect your words. A theme, a few images, a mood.
- Ask for a song. Give them to Agent One with a genre and a language.
- Fix what isn't right. Rewrite one section with inpainting or extend the part you love.
- Finish it. Open it in AI Studio to mix, or make a music video.
