2023: an AI assistant for content and music creators
The first Soundverse video introduced an AI assistant for content and music creators. You spoke to the Soundverse Assistant to get things done, and the more you spoke to it, the better it understood you and your goals. Alongside it, AI Magic Tools such as text to music, stem separation and lyrics generation turned ideas into audio.
The idea from day one was conversational creation: not another DAW competing with Ableton or Logic, but a new way to make music and audio by talking.

February 2024: music for OpenAI's Sora clips
When OpenAI showed Sora, its text-to-video model, the demo videos had no sound. The Soundverse team added music to them with AI: text to video from Sora, text to music from Soundverse.

August 2024: SAAR v1, a voice assistant for music
SAAR made music creation as easy as a conversation, by voice or by text. Version 1 could:
- Talk. Explore and create music in different genres and styles by speaking to it.
- Remember. Keep context from earlier conversations.
- Make music. Use Soundverse tools for music generation, lyrics, music extension and stem separation.
- Discuss music. Talk about music theory, composition techniques and artist recommendations.

July 2025: Soundverse v4
v4 brought generation in any style from a reference audio upload, longer songs and instrumentals, and the Soundverse API for enterprises.
