How it works
Open Mastering One
In AI Studio, open the Mixer from the Studio menu (☰), click FX on the MASTER strip, then click the Mastering One slot. Or choose Master from a song's menu in your Library to open the song in a new project with Mastering One on.
Switch it on and pick a target
Switch it ON with the OFF/ON button in the window's title bar, then choose a Genre target such as Pop, Hip-Hop or Cinematic and a Target from Club / DJ −7 to Broadcast EBU R128 −23, or load a preset such as Streaming −14.
Play, then press ✦ Master
With the song playing, click ✦ Master. Mastering One listens for two seconds, sets Tone, Dynamics, Width, Loudness and Intensity, and shows the loudness it heard and the gain it applied.
Fine-tune and export
Adjust the six macros and the True Peak Ceiling, switch chain sections on or off, and turn on Dither for a 16-bit file. Then click Export.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Mastering One mastering plugin free?
Yes. Mastering One is included on every Soundverse plan, including Free, and uses no tokens because it runs in your browser. It's already on the master bus of every AI Studio project, switched off until you turn it on. Your plan sets the export: Free exports MP3, while Creator and above add WAV, FLAC, AAC and OGG. Opening a song with Master creates a new project, which counts toward your plan's project limit.
How good do masters from Mastering One sound?
Mastering One is a full mastering chain, with tone EQ, two-band compression, stereo imaging, saturation and a limiter, so a well-balanced mix can be finished without leaving the browser. ✦ Master makes one measured move from two seconds of audio, so play a representative part, such as a chorus, and press it again if needed. It can't fix a muddy or clashing mix, so sort that out first, for example with Mix One.
Can I release songs I master with Mastering One?
Mastering One changes how your mix sounds, not who owns it. On the Free plan, what you make in Soundverse AI Studio is for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You need the rights to the song you master, including any samples and recordings in it.
What can't Mastering One do?
Mastering One works only on the master bus inside Soundverse AI Studio; it isn't a plugin for another DAW, and it doesn't master stems separately. It can't repair problems inside the mix, and ✦ Master needs the song playing to measure it. The loudness and peak readouts in its window are quick estimates, so check final LUFS and true peak with Analysis One.

Mastering One is the mastering plugin built into Soundverse AI Studio. It sits on the master bus of every project, starts switched off, and masters the whole mix with a seven-section chain controlled by six macros, a genre, a loudness target and a ✦ Master button that measures your song and sets five of the macros for you.
How do I master a song to -14 LUFS for streaming?
In Mastering One, load the Streaming −14 preset, which aims at −14 LUFS with a −1 dBTP ceiling, or Apple Music −16 for a quieter target. Play the song and press ✦ Master. To set the file's final level, the Export dialog's Loudness option can also normalize it to Streaming −14 LUFS, with True-peak normalize to −1 dBTP turned on.
What does ✦ Master actually do?
✦ Master listens to two seconds of the mix entering Mastering One and estimates its loudness, its peak-to-loudness ratio and its low and high balance. It then sets Loudness to close the gap to your target, Tone toward the genre's balance, Dynamics and Intensity from how peaky the mix is and how far it is from the target, and Width from the genre. It measures the input, so pressing it again won't chase its own gain.
Why is Mastering One off when I open it?
Mastering One is installed on the master bus of every AI Studio project, including older projects, but it starts switched off so that opening a project never changes how it sounds or exports. Click the OFF button in its window's title bar so it reads ON to put it in circuit, and use Bypass to compare the mastered and unmastered mix.
Can I master a song I made with Agent One?
Yes. In your Soundverse Library, open the song's menu and choose Master. Soundverse opens the song in a new AI Studio project with the Mixer open and Mastering One switched on, ready for you to pick a target and press ✦ Master. The new project counts toward your plan's project limit, which is 3 on Free.
