What you get

A vocal that cuts through

Lower-priority parts pan away and get a carve where they mask the vocal, so the lead keeps its space.

A start that fits your genre

18 templates, from Pop / Universal to Filmi / Bollywood and Afrobeats / Amapiano, decide where each part sits.

Every move is yours to change

Drag any block or turn its knobs, and switch Mix One OFF to get back the pans you had.

Who it's for

Independent artists

Gives a song you produced or generated a clear starting mix, with each typed track seated for your genre, before you master it.

Beatmakers and producers

Shows where the bass and kick or two synths mask each other, and pans or carves the lower-priority part out of the way.

Indian-language creators

Starts from Filmi / Bollywood, Punjabi / Desi Pop or Indian Devotional templates that set where each part sits for those styles.

Music students learning to mix

Draws every track's frequency band, stereo position and conflicts on one chart, so the reasons behind mix moves are visible.

When to use it

  • Your vocal gets buried under a busy beat
  • Two guitars or backing vocals pile up in the center
  • You separated a song into stems and need a starting point for the mix
  • The low end sounds muddy and you can't tell which tracks clash
  • You want to hear the same song placed as Pop / Universal and as Lo-fi / Chill
  • You're about to master and want the parts to sit apart first

What you can make with it

A vocal Mix One protects

Raise the lead vocal's PRIORITY in the inspector so Mix One treats it as the part to keep clear when it pans and carves other tracks.

Guitars split left and right

Type both guitar tracks as Guitar, and Auto-Place mirrors the second one to the other side of the stereo field.

A Bollywood starting mix

Pick Filmi / Bollywood for a Hindi film-style song, or Punjabi / Desi Pop for a Punjabi track, then Auto-Place and switch Mix One on.

The clash, named

Play the song and open the conflicts list to see which pair masks each other and in which frequency range, with a move to try.

Mud and harshness flagged

Check a track's TONE tab for the mud, boxiness or harshness Mix One detected, then apply the cuts with Fix all.

Two genres, A and B

Store one template's layout in snapshot A and another's in B, then switch while the song plays. Snapshots last while the Mix One window stays open.

Separated stems, placed

After Stem Separator, set a type on each stem track, since stems arrive named but untyped, then Auto-Place them. Stem Separator uses tokens.

Front and back in 3D

Switch to the 3D view to see which parts sit forward, and turn DEPTH to push a pad behind the vocal.

A placed mix, then a master

Switch Mix One on and set fader levels yourself, then finish on the master bus with Mastering One.

Mix One is Soundverse's AI mixing stage in AI Studio: every track becomes a block on a chart of frequency against stereo position, and Auto-Place seats each typed track where its genre template puts it, then moves clashing parts apart. It's for songwriters, beatmakers and producers who want a clear starting mix from stems or generated parts without setting every pan and cut by hand. It runs in your browser, uses no tokens and is included on every plan.

What you can do

Placement

How Mix One decides where each track sits.

  • Auto-Place

Seats every typed track in its role's slot for the chosen template, mirrors a second guitar or backing vocal to the other side, and pans clashing parts apart.

  • 18 genre templates

Pop / Universal, Hip-Hop / Trap, R&B / Neo-Soul, House / Melodic EDM, Techno / Minimal, Drum & Bass, Indie / Alt Rock, Metal / Hard Rock, Acoustic / SSW, Jazz / Live, Filmi / Bollywood, Punjabi / Desi Pop, Indian Devotional, Afrobeats / Amapiano, Reggaeton / Latin, Lo-fi / Chill, Cinematic / Score and Ambient / Meditation.

  • 12 track roles

Vocals, Backing Vocals, Drums, Percussion, Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, Synth, Strings, Brass, Woodwinds and FX, each with its own frequency band, pan, width, priority and high-pass.

  • AMT and snapshots

AMT scales every placement move from none to full, and snapshots A, B and C let you switch between layouts.

Per-track control

Select any block to see why it sits there and change it.

  • Seven mix knobs

PAN, WIDTH, TILT, CARVE, PRIORITY, DEPTH and TRIM, plus Lock, Solo, Bypass and Reset to slot.

  • TONE tab

The corrective moves Mix One detected for the track, such as a high-pass, a mud or harshness cut and a de-ess cut, each with its frequency and confidence, plus Fix all and Re-analyse.

  • Conflicts and heat

A heat overlay colors overlaps by severity, and the conflicts list names each pair, the frequency range and what to try.

  • 2D and 3D views

Switch to 3D to see each track's depth, front to back, from five camera angles. A live spectrum glows behind each block while the song plays.

How it works

  1. Set each track's type

In AI Studio, choose a type such as Vocals, Drums, Bass, Guitar or Synth from the dropdown in each track's header. Mix One places typed tracks and leaves the rest where they are.

  2. Open Mix One and pick a genre

Open the Studio menu (☰) and choose Mix One under Workspace. Pick a template such as Pop / Universal, Hip-Hop / Trap or Filmi / Bollywood.

  3. Auto-Place, then switch it ON

Click Auto-Place to plan where each typed track goes, then click the Turn on button and press Play. While Mix One is OFF, the plan is only a preview: pans and processing aren't applied.

  4. Fine-tune and export

Click Fix tone, when it appears, to engage the corrective EQ moves Mix One found, then drag blocks or turn their knobs and compare snapshots A, B and C. Your exports include Mix One's processing.

Why use Mix One

Room for every part

Auto-Place gives each typed track its role's place in frequency and stereo, then pans lower-priority parts away from higher ones where they clash.

Templates that know the genre

18 templates set where parts sit and how wide the mix goes, including Hip-Hop / Trap, House / Melodic EDM, Filmi / Bollywood, Punjabi / Desi Pop, Indian Devotional and Afrobeats / Amapiano.

Problems you can see

A heat overlay marks where two tracks mask each other, the conflicts list names the pair and the frequency range, and each track's TONE tab lists the mud, boxiness or harshness it found.

Hear it, export it, undo it

Mix One processes every track in your browser, so what plays is what exports. Switching it OFF restores the pans you had, and every move goes through the studio's undo.

Good to know

Set track types first

Auto-Place has a slot only for typed tracks. Choose a type in each track's header; tracks without one, or set to Song or Custom, stay where they are.

It starts OFF

In a new project Mix One is a preview: Auto-Place and drags plan the mix, but pans and processing aren't applied until you turn it on.

Placement, not level balancing

Mix One pans, filters, widens and carves, and moves tracks forward or back by a few decibels. Set fader levels yourself.

Fixed carve and de-ess

Its carve is a fixed EQ dip and its de-ess move a static cut. For a de-esser that follows the vocal, add De-Esser One.

Tracks follow your plan

Mix One can place as many tracks as your project holds: 3 on Free, 8 on Creator and 20 on Pro.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mix One's AI mixing free?

Yes. Mix One is included on every Soundverse plan, including Free, and it uses no tokens because it runs in your browser inside AI Studio. Your plan sets the studio around it: on Free, a project holds up to 3 tracks and exports MP3; Creator raises that to 8 tracks and adds WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG and stem export; Pro raises it to 20 tracks.

How good is a mix from Mix One?

Mix One gives you a clear starting mix, not a finished one. It pans and places each typed track for the genre, high-passes rumble, carves a dip where a lower-priority track masks a higher one, and moves tracks forward or back by a few decibels by priority. It doesn't ride faders or balance levels, so set your levels by ear, then master the result with Mastering One.

Can I release music I mix with Mix One?

Mix One changes how your tracks sit in the mix, not who owns them. On the Free plan, what you make in Soundverse AI Studio is for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You need the rights to every track you bring into the project, including stems, samples and recordings.

What can't Mix One do?

Mix One places only tracks that have a type; untyped tracks stay where you put them. Its carve is a fixed EQ dip rather than one that follows the music, and its de-ess move is a static cut, so add De-Esser One to a harsh vocal. It doesn't set fader levels, and it works only inside Soundverse AI Studio, not as a plugin in another DAW.

What is Mix One?

Mix One is the AI mixing stage in Soundverse AI Studio: a chart of frequency against stereo position where every track is a block you can drag. Mix One places each typed track for the genre template you choose, shows where tracks mask each other, and processes every track in your browser, so what you hear while it's ON is what you export.

How does Mix One decide where each track goes?

Mix One reads the type you set in each track's header, such as Vocals, Drums or Bass, and gives the track that role's slot: a frequency band, a pan position, a width, a priority and a high-pass. The genre template adjusts those slots, a second track in an off-center role, such as a second guitar, is mirrored to the other side, and where two tracks still mask each other, the lower-priority one is panned away and carved.

Is Mix One really AI?

Mix One is automatic, analysis-driven mixing rather than a generative model. While your song plays, it reads each track's spectrum, estimates how much tracks mask each other and detects tonal problems such as mud, harshness and sibilance, then applies genre placement rules. Every decision appears as a block, a knob or a move you can change, and it all runs in your browser.

How do I compare the mix with and without Mix One?

Click Mix One's ON button to switch it OFF: that bypasses all of its processing and puts back the pans you had before you turned it on, so you can compare in one click. The AMT slider scales every placement move from none to full, Bypass takes a single track out, and snapshots A, B and C hold different layouts to switch between.

Should I use Mix One or Mastering One first?

Use Mix One first, then Mastering One. Mix One works on each track before the tracks are summed, placing and shaping them against each other, while Mastering One works on the finished mix on the master bus, setting tone, dynamics, width and loudness toward a target. In Soundverse AI Studio the two don't clash, and both are free on every plan.
