What you get

Change the tone after the take

The amp works on the recorded track, so you can switch amps, gain or pedals without playing the part again.

Start from a genre preset

22 presets in 11 genre tabs load a full amp, tone and pedal setting in one click.

Free, nothing to install

It runs in your browser in AI Studio with no tokens on any plan and saves with your project.

Who it's for

Guitarists recording direct

Gives a clean DI recording an amp, a cabinet and pedals, so you choose the tone while mixing instead of while tracking.

Producers without an amp

Adds clean, crunch, lead, fuzz or metal tone to guitar parts inside a browser project.

Songwriters using Guitar One

Runs a MIDI guitar part from the Guitar One instrument through an amp and a cabinet for a driven tone.

Beatmakers looking for grit

Drives bass, synths or a vocal through an amp for distortion and a lo-fi edge.

When to use it

  • You recorded a clean DI guitar and want to choose the tone later
  • A take is right but its tone doesn't fit the song
  • A Guitar One instrument part sounds too clean
  • You want distortion on a track that isn't a guitar
  • You're sketching a tone idea without your amp at hand

What you can make with it

A crunchy rhythm part

Load a Rock preset, then nudge GAIN and MID until the rhythm guitar cuts through the band.

Tight metal rhythm

Choose the metal model and trim BASS a little so palm-muted chugs stay tight.

Ambient clean guitar

Use an Ambient preset and raise the DELAY and REVERB pedal mixes for a washed-out clean tone.

A solo that cuts

Switch to the lead model and add PRESENCE so a solo sits above the mix.

Amp on the Guitar One instrument

Add the amp to a Guitar One instrument track to give its synthesized tones an amp and a cabinet.

Fuzz on bass or vocals

Run a bass or a vocal through the fuzz or crunch model at low GAIN for grit.

A full guitar chain

On an audio track, load Crunch Rock Guitar or Metal Rhythm Guitar to get the amp with EQ and compression in one step.

Amp settings by request

Ask Agent One to put Guitar One amp on your guitar track or switch it to the lead model. Agent One requests use tokens.

Guitar One amp is Soundverse's guitar amp simulator online: an effect in AI Studio that shapes a recorded or imported guitar track with an amp, a cabinet and two pedals. Start from one of 22 presets in genre tabs such as Clean, Rock, Metal and Ambient, or pick one of five amp models and set GAIN, DRIVE, BASS, MID, TREBLE and PRESENCE yourself. It's built for guitarists and producers who want amp tone without hardware, and it's free on every plan, with no tokens used.

What you can do

Amp and cabinet

The amp head and the cabinet behind it.

  • Amp model

Five models, clean, crunch, lead, fuzz and metal, each with its own distortion curve.

  • GAIN and DRIVE

GAIN sets how hard the signal hits the amp, and DRIVE sets how much the model distorts.

  • BASS, MID, TREBLE, PRESENCE

Four tone controls with up to 12 dB of boost or cut, working around 120 Hz, 800 Hz, 3.2 kHz and 6 kHz.

  • Cabinet

A fixed cabinet filter rolls off the harsh top above about 5 kHz and the lowest lows below about 90 Hz.

Pedals and presets

Two pedals after the amp, and presets to start from.

  • DELAY

MIX, TIME from 20 to 1,400 ms and FDBK up to 90%.

  • REVERB and OUTPUT

A reverb MIX, then LEVEL from 0 to 140%.

  • Presets

22 presets in 11 genre tabs, each showing the amp model it uses. On audio tracks, the Crunch Rock Guitar and Metal Rhythm Guitar chain presets load the amp with EQ and compression.

Where the AI comes in

Guitar One amp is signal processing. Agent One can write a guitar part and add the amp for you.

  • Ask Agent One

Open Agent One from the AI Studio top bar with its Studio switch on, and ask for a guitar part or for Guitar One amp on a track. Agent One requests use tokens; the Free plan includes three Agent One generations, and sharing Soundverse unlocks the second and third.

    • Add a crunchy guitar part and put Guitar One amp on it
    • Switch the amp on my guitar track to the lead model

Why use Guitar One amp

Change the tone after the take

Guitar One amp processes the recorded track, so you can switch amps, gain or pedals later without playing the part again.

Five amps in one window

Clean, crunch, lead, fuzz and metal each use their own distortion curve, so one take can go from glassy to heavy.

Presets sorted by genre

Genre tabs from Clean and Jazz to Metal and Ambient load a full amp, tone and pedal setting in one click.

Not just for guitar

Guitar One amp processes any audio on its track, so you can drive a bass, a synth or a vocal through it for grit.

Good to know

Works on recorded audio

Guitar One amp processes the audio on its track. Record or import the part first.

Fixed cabinet

The cabinet is a fixed filter. You can't load other cabinet impulse responses.

No saved amp presets

Your settings save with the project, but you can't save them as a named preset.

Delay in milliseconds

The DELAY pedal's TIME runs from 20 to 1,400 ms and doesn't follow the project tempo.

Frequently asked questions

Is Guitar One amp a free guitar amp simulator online?

Yes. Guitar One amp is included in AI Studio on every Soundverse plan, including Free, and it uses no tokens because the amp runs in your browser. Your plan changes the studio around it: Free keeps up to 3 projects with 3 tracks each and exports MP3, while Creator and above add more tracks plus WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG and stem export.

How close does Guitar One amp get to a real amp?

Guitar One amp models the main stages of an amp rig: input gain into a distortion curve for each amp model, a four-band tone stack, a fixed cabinet filter that trims the harsh top and the lowest lows, then delay and reverb. It's made for usable tones in a browser project rather than to copy one particular amp. A clean, direct recording gives it the most to work with.

Can I use guitar tracks made with Guitar One amp commercially?

It depends on your Soundverse plan. On the Free plan, what you make is for personal use. Paid plans include a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. Guitar One amp changes the sound of what you play, so you need the rights to anything you upload, such as someone else's recording or a sample.

What can't Guitar One amp do?

Guitar One amp shapes audio that's already on a track. It isn't a tuner, it doesn't fix timing or pitch, and it doesn't load cabinet impulse responses, because the cabinet is a fixed filter. Its delay is set in milliseconds rather than synced to the tempo, and your tweaks save with the project but can't be saved as a named amp preset.

What is Guitar One amp?

Guitar One amp is the amp effect in Soundverse AI Studio, listed as Guitar One under Amp in the Effects tab. It combines five amp models, gain and drive, bass, mid, treble and presence controls, a cabinet filter, and delay and reverb pedals, with 22 presets. It shares its name with the Guitar One instrument, which plays guitar parts from MIDI.

How do I get my guitar into Guitar One amp?

Record or import the guitar first. In Soundverse AI Studio, arm an audio track and record with the input your browser uses, or click Upload or drag a recording in from your Library. A clean, direct recording leaves the most room for the amp. Then click the track header, click ADD EFFECT and pick Guitar One under Amp.

Can I use Guitar One amp on the Guitar One instrument?

Yes. Guitar One is the MIDI guitar instrument in Soundverse AI Studio, and Guitar One amp is an effect, so you can put the amp on the instrument's track. Play or write a part on Guitar One, click the track header, click ADD EFFECT and pick Guitar One under Amp to run the part through an amp, cabinet and pedals.

Is Guitar One amp AI?

No. Guitar One amp is signal processing: a waveshaper, filters, a delay and a reverb running in your browser, with no tokens. The AI in AI Studio is Agent One, which can write a guitar part on the Guitar One instrument and add effects such as Guitar One amp when you ask, with its Studio switch on. Agent One requests use tokens, and the Free plan includes three Agent One generations, two unlocked by sharing Soundverse.

Can I put Guitar One amp on things other than guitar?

Yes. Guitar One amp processes whatever audio is on its track, so you can drive a bass, a synth, drums or a vocal through it for grit or a lo-fi edge. Start with the crunch or fuzz model and low GAIN, and use the tone controls to keep the low end and the top in check.

Ready to dial in your guitar tone?
