ElevenMusic v2.5 is ElevenLabs' music model, available on Soundverse in AI Song Generator, AI Music Generator and Inpainting. It sings your lyrics exactly as written, section by section, and lets you set a length from 15 seconds to five minutes, follow up to 30 seconds of a reference track, make loops and ambience, or score a video. It's for songwriters, video creators and producers on the Creator plan and above who need control over the words, the length and the feel.

Describe it or add lyrics
Describe the music, or switch AI Song Generator to Custom and paste lyrics with tags such as [Verse] and [Chorus]. Each tag becomes a section, sung as written.
Set the length and extras
In AI Song Generator or AI Music Generator, open Advanced to pick a Length or leave it on Auto, list styles to avoid, and add an audio reference or High (320 kbps) quality.
Generate in Chat
Click Generate in Chat. The track lands in your chat, ready to play, download or open in AI Studio.

No. ElevenMusic v2.5 is available on the Creator plan and above, and each run uses tokens from your plan based on the length of the track; in Inpainting, the whole song's length counts. On the Free plan, ElevenMusic v2.5 shows an Upgrade tag in the Model dropdown. Signing up for Soundverse is free, and new accounts get free starter tokens to try the tools on the Free plan.
Does ElevenMusic v2.5 sing my lyrics exactly as written?
Yes. In AI Song Generator's Custom mode, ElevenMusic v2.5 turns each tag, such as [Verse] or [Chorus], into its own section and sings your lines in order, as written; a tag with no lines, like [Intro], becomes an instrumental part. In Describe mode, ElevenMusic v2.5 writes the lyrics from your description. Your lyrics must be original, since copyrighted lyrics are refused.
How long can an ElevenMusic v2.5 track be?
In AI Song Generator and AI Music Generator, ElevenMusic v2.5's Length setting runs from 15 seconds to five minutes, or Auto, which sizes the track to your lyrics when you give them. When you score a video, the music matches the video's length, for videos up to 10 minutes and 200 MB. In Inpainting, ElevenMusic v2.5 edits songs up to 10 minutes long.
What can't ElevenMusic v2.5 do?
ElevenMusic v2.5 can't sing in your voice clone; for that, use AI Song Generator on a Soundverse version with Use custom voice. It refuses prompts that name a real artist or song, copyrighted lyrics, and reference clips or songs flagged as copyrighted. A seed gives a similar result, not an identical one, and when you score a video, the reference, finetune, length and seed settings aren't used.
How is ElevenMusic v2.5 different from Google Lyria 3.5?
Both are Creator-plan models in AI Song Generator and AI Music Generator. Google Lyria 3.5 works from text alone, has no length setting and uses a set number of tokens per song. ElevenMusic v2.5 sings lyrics section by section exactly as written, takes a length and an audio reference, makes loops, ambience and video scores, also works in Inpainting, and is priced by the length of the track.
Can I use ElevenMusic v2.5 tracks commercially?
It depends on your plan's license. ElevenMusic v2.5 needs the Creator plan or above, and Soundverse's paid plans add a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. You need the rights to any reference clip, video or song you upload. Under Advanced, you can also turn on the AI-generated credential (C2PA) to mark the MP3 as AI-generated.
