AI Video to Audio: Music, SFX and Dialogue for Your Video
Right-click a video in AI Studio and choose Describe and Generate Audio. Soundverse describes the video, then builds SFX, Music and Dialogue tracks timed to what happens on screen.
Describe and Generate Audio is Soundverse's AI video to audio action in AI Studio: it reads your video and generates the music, sound effects and dialogue its scenes call for. It's built for filmmakers, music video makers and creators scoring shorts, ads and trailers who want a first full soundtrack without building it clip by clip. You confirm what to generate and see the token total first, then the clips land on new tracks, locked to the video.

Why use Describe and Generate Audio
Three kinds of audio, one action
One menu item plans sound effects, music cues and dialogue lines from the video's description, then generates them all.
Placed where the scene needs it
Each clip lands under its line of the description, at its moment in the video, and stays locked to the picture if you change the tempo.
A voice for every speaker
Each speaker keeps one voice for the whole run, chosen from the speaker labels, and the confirm dialog shows who gets which voice.
You see the audio cost first
No audio is generated until you confirm. The dialog shows tokens for each kind against your balance, and you can untick music, effects or dialogue.

Frequently asked questions
What is Describe and Generate Audio, Soundverse's AI video to audio action?
Describe and Generate Audio is Soundverse's AI video to audio action in AI Studio. It describes a video clip, then generates the sound effects, music and dialogue lines that description calls for and places each clip on new SFX, Music and Dialogue tracks, timed to the video.
How do I add music, sound effects and dialogue to a video with AI?
Add your video to a Soundverse AI Studio project, right-click the clip, open AI Tools and choose Describe and Generate Audio. In the Generate audio for this video? dialog, tick what you want, check the tokens and click Generate All. A progress toast counts the clips as they land, and you can stop the run from it.
Is Describe and Generate Audio free?
Not on the Free plan. Describe and Generate Audio starts by describing the video, which is part of the Creator plan, so it needs Creator or above. The describing step uses tokens, each generated clip then uses tokens, and the confirm dialog shows the audio total against your balance before any audio is generated. Soundverse is free to sign up, with free starter tokens.
How long can my video be?
Describe and Generate Audio works on a video clip in your AI Studio timeline, and the describing step takes videos up to 45 minutes long. Music is capped at five minutes per cue, and the confirm dialog tells you when that cap applies. Each sound effect runs between 0.5 and 30 seconds.
Where does Describe and Generate Audio fall short?
Describe and Generate Audio only generates what the video's description lists, so a moment the description misses gets no audio. Music cues stop at five minutes, hourly limits can hold some clips back, and your plan's track limit applies, since a run adds up to three tracks. Dialogue voices are picked automatically from the speaker labels.
How is Describe and Generate Audio different from Video to SFX?
AI Video Describer writes a timed breakdown of a video's scenes, dialogue, effects and music. Describe and Generate Audio runs it first if needed, then turns that breakdown into audio. Video to SFX makes sound effects only. Use Describe and Generate Audio when you want music, effects and dialogue together as a first full soundtrack.
Can I redo a clip I don't like?
Yes. Every clip a Describe and Generate Audio run makes can be regenerated on its own: right-click it and choose Regenerate to get a fresh take on a new track below it, with its token cost shown in the menu. If some clips fail, the summary toast offers Retry Failed.
Can I use the soundtrack commercially?
On the Free plan, what you make is for personal use. Paid plans add a commercial license; the Pricing page lists what each plan covers. Describe and Generate Audio needs Creator or above. You need the rights to anything you upload, including the video you add to AI Studio.
