DNA Earn is the Soundverse feature that lets you monetize your AI music model: when someone pays to export a track made with your public DNA, a share of that payment is reserved for you. You set the export price, Soundverse reviews your DNA before it goes live, and the Earn tab tracks your balance, payment protection and payouts to your Stripe account. It's built for artists and producers who want to be paid when other people export music made in their sound.

How it works

  1. Connect Stripe

    Open the Earn tab in DNA and click Connect Stripe to link a Stripe Connect account. Earnings can build up before you finish, but payouts wait for Stripe's setup and verification.

  2. Train your DNA

    Open Train model in DNA and choose Full Production DNA. Add music you own, set the processing sensitivity and save each step.

  3. Set price and visibility

    In the wizard's Advanced step, set DNA Visibility to public and choose the price people pay to export a track made with it. Soundverse reviews the DNA before it goes live.

  4. Track earnings and payouts

    Each paid export lands in your balance and clears payment protection first. The Earn tab then shows what's eligible, your next payout date and the minimum payout threshold.

What is DNA Earn?

How do I earn money from my Artist DNA?

Train a DNA on music you own, make it public and choose an export price, then click Connect Stripe on the Earn tab. When another creator pays to export a track made with your DNA, DNA Earn reserves a share of the payment for you. Soundverse reviews a DNA for quality and ethics before it appears in DNA Marketplace, where people find and use it.

How much does DNA Earn pay per export?

There's no fixed amount per export: you set the export price for tracks made with your DNA, and DNA Earn reserves a share of each paid export for you. The Earn tab states that share when you set up, and View history lists every earning with its amount. Exporting your own DNA's tracks is free, so those exports don't add to your balance.

When does DNA Earn pay out?

DNA Earn pays out to your connected Stripe account once a month, on the scheduled payout date, while automatic payouts are on. Each new earning first sits in payment protection; once it clears it counts as eligible, and eligible balances at or above the minimum payout threshold are paid. If automatic payouts are paused, the Earn tab says so and keeps tracking your balance.

Do I need a Stripe account to use DNA Earn?

Yes, to get paid. DNA Earn sends payouts through Stripe Connect, so click Connect Stripe on the Earn tab and finish Stripe's onboarding and any verification it asks for. Earnings, including Fan Support, can build up before then, but nothing is sent until your account is ready. If setup is incomplete, the Earn tab shows the next step.

What counts toward my DNA Earn balance?

Paid exports of tracks made with your DNA count toward your DNA Earn balance, and so does Fan Support: one-time or monthly support that fans send you from a one-to-one message thread. Both land in the same protected balance. View history on the Earn tab lists each earning and payout with its source, date, status and amount.

Why isn't all of my DNA Earn balance ready for payout?

New earnings wait in payment protection before they become eligible, and a refund on a paid export reverses its earning. Payouts also wait for Stripe to finish onboarding and verification, and an eligible amount below the minimum payout threshold waits until your balance reaches it. Some earnings can be held for review, and the Earn tab shows those amounts separately.

Can I earn from a DNA trained on someone else's music?

Only with the rights holder's explicit permission. Train a DNA only on music you own or have explicit permission to use: Train Artist Model and Agent One won't start training until you confirm that, and the Voice DNA wizard asks you to confirm the voice is yours or that the singer consented. Soundverse also reviews public DNAs before they go live. You need the rights to anything you upload.
